Hello fellow traders! What an awesome site. I'm thankful to have found this. I have been trading live and sim for about 6 months with varying results. I have been a star on the sim account but am down 12k in my live account. Thus far it seems that my biggest problem is not cutting my losses short since my 12k lost is a result of 4 bad trades. My winning % is above 70 but that means nothing I know. I haven't purchased any trading courses but have been tempted several times and am considering the Larry Williams University swing trading course and the top dog courses. I am currently trading crude, nat gas and SP and rarely hold positions over night unless I'm in the hole then I try to ride it out and not take the loss. I know this is the road to blow up my account but that's why I'm here to seek advice from successful traders. I use Williams %R and support and resistance to trade right now. Funding my account is not an issue but I don't want to keep losing money because the well will run dry at some point!! I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make a living at this and welcome any advice on where to start. Thanks for your time.

I folliow technical analysis from '90, i do trading on emini futures with an italian broker but i don't have time because the work and other hobbies. I notice that the italian broker do not offer platform and data of quality, so i decided to try an american broker with multichart. So i have decided to follow this forum, i see that is very professional.
My trading si based only in the chart of price i have a set of rules that are impressed in my mind, i trade only with this. Now i want to learn more about volume analysis. Thank to all
Hi I'm Roy, I'm a beginer student of trading. I'm studying a particuler vision of VSA and I hope I can help too!!!
I was simulating the last 11 months and the results are getting better slowly. I continue studying all the things related to price and volume. I m' interested in the market profile and the footprint.
Thank you for this forum and have a great day!!!
I am just getting back into market as I was fortunate enough to cash out of an old real estate deal. I traded my own account in the 90's using technical analysis but cautiously approaching the next entry. I stumbled across this site and it seems my good fortune continues. I look forward to participating and hopefully can provide some help as well as ask for some!
Happy Trading
Allen
I never knew why I haven't heard about this resource but it looks like it is a hidden gem.
I am mostly a day trader of weekly options. I just love them. I prefer doing credit vertical spreads and finding those options that are less than a dollar which will be 4 or more bucks later in the day. I love the feeling of beating the man more than how much money I make or loose.
I been trading for the last 5 years and pretty much thinkDesktop (thinkOrSwim) inside out.
Have been trading for approx 18 months part time (I have a full time job). Have kept it simple - mainly trading currecies on igindex.
I am fairly relaxed and in the right mindset after having had my one big wobble mid year where i suddenly decided that i was so great I no longer needed stops and blew about 30K in a few days.
I'm a swing trader due to lack of time to perform intraday trades but having just read Mastering The Trade I'm preparing to get a bit more scientific and use things like the TTM Squeeze.
Finding it very difficult to find data to backtest strategies on for igindex so may have to jump to the next level and use Tradestation.
I am Daniel, have been trading live and demo for 3years now. Main job is system administrator and DBA, but trading i like more also motorcycles and bass guitar.
