I'm looking for the holy grail. Anybody here have it?
Just kidding.
I'm an experienced trader, but not yet successful. I've had my successes, but my failures have been worse. I'm trying to find a way to be a consistently successful trader and after reading many things and investing in quite a few systems, I believe I would most benefit from a group of like-minded people to bounce ideas off and to learn from.
Thanks,
Randy

My name is Iossif. I'm originally from Bulgaria, but now also Canadian for 15 years. I live in crazy cold Montreal where I completed my Finance degree and worked in Fixed Income for 2 years.
I've been trading part-time for 3-4 years already, but it's been a real roller-coaster, and never quite profitable. I recently discovered futures and options and immediately fell in love with the ES. I'm also deeply obsessed with the VIX futures curve; I find it fascinating how few people understand the mechanics of volatility and mean reversion of these products.
My goal is to become consistently profitable and trade for a living within a year or two. Let's show the buy-and-hold rookies how it's really done.
I'm a beginner and want to get into trading, probably stock or futures trading. I don't really know where to start. I already know most of the terms but I don't really know which instrument I want to trade and even if I would know that I don't know how to build a basic strategy and then start to adapt and add things to it.
Yea, that's basically it, I don't know how to build/get/find a basic strategy or how to come up with one on my own.
By the way, I'm from Germany and 18 years old and well, yep that's it.
My name is Andres from Argentina. I began my trading journey at 2010, experimenting on Forex. Well, that was not a good idea and in short time I saw my account dissapear ... but I never lost the learning spirit, so I began to read books, take some courses and now I'm studying Financials and Economics at the University. I never thought it would become so interesting to me.
Today I'm trading at the Argentinian market, mostly on bonds. But I'm planing to get back at the USA market soon, since our market doesn't have a good operation volume.
I have taken some courses on technical analisys and Elliott Waves, and now reading some books and videos about Price Action.
Looking for some reviews I ended up on this forum and it seemed very interesting, so I hope to learn a lot from this community and, of course, to give my 2 cents too.
You may post in many sections of futures.io (formerly BMT) without any restrictions, but there are only a few sections here in which you won't be allowed to post until you've accomplished a certain number of posts.

Thank you Mike for the membership.
I'm here to learn different strategy's and technique's and fundamentals.
a year ago , i started trading forex and got whip - sawed out of my money. the funny thing is, it was only
fifty bucks . But learned i needed more education, before they took more .
So here I am , with a better perspective/ trade plan journey .
Glad to join the forum, Like everyone else, have lost a lot of money and have been trading for over six years. I tried many strategies and failed big on all of them. Discipline is the name of the game and not the strategy itself. control your emotions and stay in the green, if you cannot be in the green do not be in the red. know hen you are wrong. Do not move your stop, get out at a small loss, you can always re enter. trade with the trend not against it. I am hoping to learn more from everyone.
