Thanks for your site Mike, I always search your videos and am espicially interested in Al Brookes method. I am in the canadian military and 6 years from retirement. By that time I am hoping I am consistenly profitable with a proven track record, and have gained enough knowledge to trade the emini exclusively and make a good living.

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Kinda new to trading. It's pushing three years now. I'm getting to the point where I'm seeking out more in-depth answers and study. For example, I can now read Stocks & Commodities magazine with keen interest whereas a year ago I would feel lost or not have the proper appreciation for the content. It all looked too deep. I would say to myself, "my packaged platform does fine. It's overkill to seek out customization of indicators and new methods of analysis".
Recently, I began seeking out this type of information myself. Does this indicate an advanced threshold of my understanding of the issues? Maybe. But it represents my only qualification for listing myself as an "intermediate" level trader in my profile. Otherwise, my track record and ignorance place me squarely in the beginners' circle.
While in this new interest of trading research Google would keep sending me posts originating from "Big Mike's Trading". Not being a quick writer and usually pressed for time as it is I generally shy away from forums. So when I'm in a trading room I'm usually 99% observer and student. On the rare occasions I believe I have something that would benefit others and I also have available time, I'll put something out there. Otherwise, I'm pretty quite on a board. Tonight is one of those rare occasions.
I'm appreciative of the membership and grateful for the enrichment.
I've invested a few thousand dollars in some education and have been trading a forex practice account for about 4 months now. I haven't been able to post a profit yet so I have not even begun to trade a live account. I want to improve my trading skills so that I begin to make money in both/either the Forex or Futures markets. I've never seen a forum quite like this one and could definitely use help. I hope to give it back as I learn and grow.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and good fortune to all!
My name is Eric and so far haven't done any trading as of yet. Just last year I got involved in the stock market and have bought a few stocks, but now I want to get into trading either futures or forex.
Found this site while doing research on futures trading and hope to learn as much as I can before I trade live. Would like to one day be able to trade for a living in place of my current day job.
Hello to all. I have been through a few technical courses and traded on and off for a few years. I have been basically a break even trader and am looking to take my trading to the next level. I appreciate everyone's contributions and hope to add value to the forum.
Hi Mike,
New to the forum. Ran across the site after seeing a link to the webinar with John Grady and scalping. I am an experienced trader in that I've made a lot of trades and lost a lot of money. Now I'm very interested in learning day trading via the DOM. My ultimate goal is to try and make a few hundred dollars a day, but if I don't well the world won't end. I am VERY lucky in that my wife just got a big promotion so I think I can have some fun with this with a bunch of pressure. Looking forward to learning!!!
My name is Joseph Easton, I am a Commodity Broker with Cannon Trading Company in Beverly Hills CA.
Cannon Trading has been an IIB (Independent Introducing Broker) since 1988 and we clear with 6 FCMs. Cannon offers most trading platforms and competitive margins and commission rates. Many clients are self directed, but a good portion of our business is from Broker assist and managed trading.
I have been a Broker at Cannon since 2011, before that I was a self directed TF and ES trader. I opened accounts with competitors and I know what is like to be on the other side of the screen. I have had success being a Broker and really enjoy participating in the market. Trading is still my favorite part of the job and thankfully I do a lot of trades with my clients regularly. I still also trade the ES and look forward to discussing TA and market movement.
I am easily accessible through this site or ours and look forward to becoming a contributor and helping other members, with the market and the industry as someone with a different perspective. Feel free to reach out....Good Trading.
