As to whether anyone "deserves" to be killed in a mass shooting, do not mock peoples' suffering like this to make a point. Do not minimize their personal tragedy.
Show some respect for the standards of this forum, if you wish to continue to post here.

Wow. What's wrong with me? That's was not what I ment. I would never wish any harm on anyone. Every single person on this planet DESERVES to live a good life.
Reading that back I can't believe I wrote that. I should have never even bothered if I have nothing productive to say anyway.
(I wrote that while and after sitting at the hospital for hours waiting for a loved one. No excuses. Just a factor in my irrationality).
I do not ever talk like that anywhere! On or offline because I don't believe any of that.
I do not wish to upset anyone so I will do my best to be respectful and stick to TRADING!
Or maybe just stick to myself because of myself for now.
Thank you for your patience and sorry for those inconsiderate words! If I could take them back I would.
Yes, the old "guns don't kill people, people do". But guns help! If you don't have a gun, go in front of someone and shout "BANG", that's not going to do much, is it?
They won't drop dead, unless you have a gun.
I don't buy the drunk driving/gun control parallel either. The so-called 'constitutional carry' is just an euphemism for unrestricted or unregulated which in this case applies to guns.
Guns happen to be the only tool which, when using as designed, kill people. Unlike cars.
What's wrong with training and background checks in order to get a weapon?
Every day, more than 100 Americans are killed with guns and more than 230 are shot and wounded. There is an obsession with the right to own, to carry, and to use guns of all types. Every day, people in the United States use their guns to kill other people. It is only rarely that people use their guns to kill criminals in the act of committing a crime: most frequently people use their guns to kill wives, children, and co-workers. It seems like every day there is a mass shooting in which someone uses a gun to kill or wound multiple people
In Australia, 100's of women are Rapped and abused daily and your country is only second to South Africa in Rape and Domestic Violence. There must be an obsession with abuse among Australian men.
Maybe we should require all Australian men to use Chlordiazepoxide to keep them from getting erections. Only once you get a permit will you be allowed to have one.
My point is...Its not the gun or pecker, fix the person.
Yes, I do realize America is third...I am making a point.

Driving test involves an eye test, an insurance requirement and a driving test - and here in Texas a citizenship test as well.
On similar lines a Gun license should involve a mental stability test (signed declaration from your Doctor), an insurance requirement and a gun firing test.
As you all say. Its not guns that kill people its people that kill people. This isn't restricting guns, this is addressing the issue of who shouldn't have a gun. Agreed?
Then just like we have traffic stops, where you get tickets for unsafe driving and arrested for say DWI we will have gun stops. That way, under the influence and carrying a gun, carrying an unlicensed gun, having an expired gun permit all become crimes.
Again not restricting guns in anyway. Just addressing the 'people' issue everybody seems to say is the real problem.
