It does look different than the charts you had posted. So I thnk what you should do, is load up an instrument in Ami with you charts. Then load this up in NT7 on the same chart and bar size, and see if/where they differ.
Try to use the same chart session and all, i.e. make the charts as similar as possible. Then if something doesn't match, we'll have to see if it's either a problem with a referenced indicator, or if I have put in a formula wrong.
But first it will just need to be visual inspection to see what does and doesn't match.
Accl bands fixed, and CCI ribbon created. For now it resides in it's own oscillator panel until I figure out a more elegant solution.
I forgot what the condition was for the arrow + CCI? I think it was when the worm bottom for example breaks above the accl bottom and cci is greater than 100?
condition 1 : The worm band gets a red color, telling us to cut any long positions that we hold, if we are short, then hold the short, find reasons to add to short.
wormtop crosses accl band bottom from above: signifies break down
condition 2 : a simple arrow ( type of arrow will be determined by CCI-250)
worm bottom crosses accl bottom from below : signifies a temporary bottom and attempt to revert back to 20 sma
condition 3 : The worm band gets a green color, telling us to cut any short positions that we hold, if we are long, then hold the long, find reasons to add to long.
worm bottom crosses accl band top from below : signifies break out
condition 4 : a simple arrow ( type of arrow will be determined by CCI-250)
worm top crosses accl band top from above : signifies a temporary top and attempt to revert back to 20 sma
I have the arrows in there that are based on the CCI condition beyond the 50s...... are there going to be more arrows based on that, or is that sufficient?
next we need to isolate the end-of-momentum phase of the market. This pattern will be cci based and the middle color can last for max 2 bars to qualify as a valid pattern.
blue - green - blue
green-blue-green
red-purple-red
purple-red-purple
So when does this occur? I.e. AFTER an entry signal/arrow, THEN look for that pattern? If this is so, WHEN do you stop looking for that pattern and ignore everything else?
Or does this just pop up somewhere anytime that pattern occurs?
