I'll take care of it. In fact, I'll use it as the inspiration of my next Video. I'll show how to make it from scratch including all the enum's and how to handle multi-color plots, two hot subjects, and I'll do it in a straightforward manner instead of how it was originally written.
So, let's see if I can get it done sometime this weekend. I'll create a new thread for it at that point.
Attached is MedianRenko I've just converted to NT7.
As this my first experience with BarTypes ever please test it carefully before starting using (and don't forget to post the results of your tests here).
If that is the case then can you please rename the database by going to My Documents-->NinjaTrader 7-->db and then rename the NinjaTrader.sdf file. Then please reopen and NinjaTrader should create a new database.
I can understand a beta product making changes to the db. But this "line" from support is scary in some regards, because a defacto answer for any problem with NT 6.5 was always to "repair the db", or just delete it if that didn't work. They don't say delete, they say rename, but same thing. It's off-line and unavailable either way, all old data in db no longer available.
Granted they made significant improvements in NT7 by dumping Access and moving to SQL, and they also moved all historical data out of the db and into flat files, so deleting the db in NT7 is not the life-altering event it was in NT 6.5.
I couldn't tell if you ever got a response to this question, but I can tell you the only time I see that is when an exception is thrown from Initialize() or another startup type of method.
I had this problem once with roonius' TSSuperTrend ver.2.1 The problem was fixed in ver.2.2 by roonius. Unfortunately I don't have the 2.1 version to compare it to the corrected one.
