I had played around with the various models of the SineWave indicator. However, so far I have not understood, how to use this indicator in an efficient way.
I would like to discuss the matter with somebody, who has an advanced understanding of the Ehlers SineWave indicator. Of course, I am willing to share everything that I have coded.
How about Ehlers himself? I could forward your message to him via email...

You could always try.... I had purchased his book "Cybernetic Analysis for Stocks & Futures" some time ago, and used the (TradeStation and eSignal) formulae for the conversion of his indicators to NinjaTrader .
I would appreciate, if he had the time to comment the NinjaTrader indicators which are based on his work, and suggest how to make best use of them.

Actually I would like to discuss the issue with somebody, who has a thorough understanding of the underlying logic of these filters.
Did you attempt to contact ryohkyo from post 29 in this thread?
He seemed very switched on with the subject of how it functions.
Would love for you guys to follow up that conversation here. Would make interesting reading I think.

The public eSignal versions seem to be lacking also.

I was wondering if anyone could explain the SHOW_PHASE function in the Hilbert SineWave Oscillator (attached) and specifically how to get it to plot. From my novice perspective it seems that there is a bit of code missing to make it functional. Is that the case? Is it do-able to make it a working part of the indicator? Thanks in advance for any help.

Please see the following
screen shot that demonstrates the power of the sine wave indicator that is done right. The
support and resistance levels are more refined than what you can find on the NT platform so far. Please note that the ones online for the NT platform, including Barry Taylor's better sine wave indicator, have not achieved this level yet and thus cannot be used to trade successfully/meaningfully. I have typed out a long essay to explain why the
ToS version is more superior, but internet explorer wiped out what i typed with one back button click...
To sum it up, a real cyclical analysis (e.g. sine wave analysis) "at the very least" need to let users adjust the look back period, because there's no single look back period that can "sync" to all instruments at all time frames. This is where most of the other sine wave indicators fail.
Sorry for my poor english after a long day. Hope this helps.
It seems work nicely... Please, tell us more info about where to find it...
Thanks

Also there is a page on Ehler's Mesa website that includes corrections to the errors in his books. Very cool. IMO
