Important threads within that forum (sticky posts) which you should read before making a request for paid services:
The idea behind this subforum is to allow people who wish to pay for consulting or programming to make a new thread with their request, and then they can receive via Private Message a response(s) from members who wish to take the job.
The section is only available to Elite Members.
Threads in the subforum are read-only for everyone except the original thread creator. This means you cannot reply to someone elses thread. The only way to contact them is via Private Message.

I modified the behavior of the Search button on the top right of the page. Apparently some users never clicked the white input box next to search, they only clicked the search button itself. So they missed the instant search and other search features entirely.
Now the search button will always pop-out the box. You can always get to the advanced search by clicking advanced search.
Just an FYI, I am close to launching a "Recent Members Videos" section on the forum homepage, which will highlight the most recent video journal uploads from members.
I am doing what I can to encourage these, as I think they are great. I've also just hired a developer (again...) to make a futures.io (formerly BMT) Video Journal windows app that will be free to Elite Members, and will make it a 1-click process to capture your video and upload it to your thread.
OK, I have made the mod live. It's on the forum homepage below the forum listing.
It will only pull videos with extension of flv or mp4 (playable by our pop-up video player), and only from Elite Members to prevent a regular user from abusing this.
For those of you who are regularly contributing Videos, thank you -- and please remember they are on the home page now, so try to include a brief description instead of just a few words so that the forum homepage looks better. I also want to point out that Elite threads are still protected, non-Elite members will see the thumbnail and preview text but will not be able to see the content.
Something that I miss from this forum is a little icon next to the name of the person who started the thread. I saw this on other forums and found it handy to indicate the person who started the discussion with his question.
Since we have a lot of people here on futures.io (formerly BMT), and some have not-easy-to-remember names with numbers and (seemingly random) letters, such a feature might also be handy here on futures.io (formerly BMT) (in my personal view ).
I will be adding an abbreviated economic calendar to the home page of the site to show today's and tomorrow's events.
I am considering events such as below:
I will incorporate this into a simple calendar style format (line/row).
My question is -- do the events listed cover most of your requirements when it comes to needing to know the reports of the day? I believe the answer is yes, but looking for feedback from others before proceeding as it is quite some work involved.
