Some cools stuff though i'm still reading thru the forum and am currently using the BetterVolume2 and trying out the BetterVolumeX.
Quick question is the "new BetterVolumeX" mentioned in the above post different from the BetterVolumeX posted on April 13th by you? And if it is where can i get the new version?
It is still the version I posted on April 13. X stands for experimental. I am glad I posted, because I got some useful feedback, also on its limitations.
Silvester17, thanks mate i like this. I was curious if it would be possible to turn off some of the colors and alerts in the properties menu. I know i could set the colors i don't want to a neutral color, but what can i do for the alerts?
The indicator has an option to turn off the sound alerts. This means you will either get all or none.
You could try to look for a silent sound file and copy it to the directory where the NinjaTrader sounds are installed (probably C:/program files/NinjaTrader 7/sounds). Then use it for the events that you want to ignore.
Otherwise you can also delete a few lines of the indicator. Which colors and sounds would you like to suppress?
For those who take volume analysis seriously, you should check out the Investor/RT webinar on Wed 27th. It's open to everyone, and a lot of volume-related platform features will be discussed.
