New member, like trading grain futures. Always looking to build a better mouse trap. I write a newsletter to create accountability to my trading. I am series 3 registered. I'm always looking for traders that are good at what they do to exchange ideas and advance our mutual goals which is to make money. I'm a Cubs fan and think this is our year. Full disclosure, I've said that forever. I have a 100 lb chocolate lab who eats anything in front of him. Prefer biking to work everyday which has been described as hazardous to my health seeing I live in Chicago.
I firmly believe that when hard runs occur in trading, it's best to take a break and regroup rather than chase frustration. Don't always take my own advice. I know there's traders who do better work than me so I check my ego at the door. Would rather learn than puff my chest out.
Who's watching the grain markets?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I've been focusing on money/risk management for the last 2 years as I didn’t really know what I was doing before that. I’ve recently started working on the technical component of my system. I am very pleased that I found Big Mikes Forum. The quality and variety of information on the forum is excellent. What stands out the most for me is the willingness of the members to help each other and share their vast knowledge and experience. I feel privileged to be a member of this forum. Thank you to all those who willingly and unselfishly contribute and share. Thank you Big Mike for an outstanding forum!
I've been trading since late 90's. Successful and not. Especially recently.
I began to trust others due to being busy to "Auto trade". My latest adventure with Price Futures Group.
They promoted a belief they (Simon Townsend & Ron Mark) could make me up to $3000/mo. after fees & commissions.
Upset after working hard for the $15,000 loss and 3 daily scalp winners over 4 mos. period, I've stopped. Their own accounts have severe losses.
I've traded the Emini with the OEC platform but not that well no matter what strategy I've thrown at it.
The Canadian $ is an easier trade.
Hopefully some of you can help with the future results since I'm retiring.
I've taken multiple webinars for training indicators, all markets, ....ie Commodity Trading School and guests, TnT, optioins ed such as Dough.com and Commodity Trading School and option trade of the day, Hubert Senters, Ryan Jones, many others.
Need help. Maybe should be doing algorithms only.
Would like to help anyone were I've been. I also would like inputs how how to improve after many years of trying, succeeding and losing.

I am looking forward to learn from all of you guys. I started to day trade a few months ago after being buy&hold investor for almost two decades. I am particularly interested in futures and stock options. It still feels like drinking from the fire hose...
