I found the first episode to live up to it's expectations and be pretty funny in doing so. If you liked breaking bad you'll enjoy this show since it's filmed from the perspective of Saul having a flashback in witness protection to his humble beginnings and how he became corrupt before he ever met Walter. It's an interesting concept because breaking bad had the momentum to keep going.

Gotta be careful about spoilers but I understand the need. Last episodes of walking dead, better call Saul, and the Jinx have left on cliffhangers and now I have to wait a whole week. They suck you in like that so they can maximize commercial viewing time. You know I watched a few seasons of the Sopranos but then when I was catching up I already heard all the spoilers about who died etc. which made the series uneventful towards the end. There's always that person who will just blurt it out.

I've been watching a new series on my Kindle called "Bosch". It's free for Prime members. It's pretty good so far. Another series that I can't wait to see is "Hand of God". It's an Amazon original series with Ron Perlman from SoA. The pilot was awesome.
Speaking of Amazon original series, there is only the pilot episode available for Mad Dogs. A bunch of middle age guys go to Belize where they run into drug money and murder. I liked it a lot, specially because of the location. So I downloaded the original British series, 2 seasons, 4-4 episodes. That takes place in Malorca....
An other older sitcom I have recently downloaded (nowhere else was it available) because I had fond memories of it is 2 Guys a Girl (and a pizza place). This show ran between 1998-2001 and Ryan Reynolds was 15 years younger in it. The girl is cute in it too (Traylor Howard), and the jokes are coming fast. 4 seasons, 81 episodes, no commercials!
I have seen the first episode of Bosch and I fund it nothing special, but just run of the mill. I have read 2-3 of the books. There are way more interesting pilots among the Amazon original series...(Mad Dogs, the civil war era one, etc)
Also I have just realized Banshee has been back so we binge watched it over the weekend. This is the 3rd season, this year they have way more shootings than before... Banshee must be the crime capital of the US....
I'll watch the Pilot of Mad Dogs tonight. It sounds interesting. Bosch appealed to be because I'm a big fan of the noir and neo-noir genre. I'll have to check out some of the Bosch books because I haven't read any of them yet.
I just started watching Bosch as well and it is really good so far. Really good so far. I am also excited for Hand of God. Amazon original series are turning out much better than I thought they would. The first few I checked out just seem to be weak copy cats of other great shows. All of the recent ones I have been watching are really good.
I just finished the first season of Black Sails, a Starz original, and it was OK. Not great but left me wanting to see more.
