I'm a long time lurker, first time poster. I love to read but I thought it was about time that I started to ask questions as well. After all the only silly question is the one that goes unasked and I have often let my questions go unasked. Nevertheless, I'm ready to change that and hopefully I can actually contribute something to this great community as well as continue greedily taking all I can. I've been interested in the financial markets since I turned 18 and was able to open my first trading account. Since then I have been on many journeys over the last 5 years and continued to learn each time. It is at this time that I'm really starting to take my trading a little more seriously and treat it like a business rather than a side hobby. I look forward to getting to interact with everyone and continue my journey!
Thanks,
VeryCheck47.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Since I'm blocked out of everywhere I would like to engage until I rack up posts, from what I understand, let's rack up posts.
I'm interested in specific topics to e-minis and options. Used to day trade many moons ago and getting back into it now. Back in the day, I used to stick to volatility plays and it seems like that has only improved.
Thank you Mike for making this Forum, it's just what I was looking for.
I am a Software Engineer and I have been in the trading arena for many years. I worked for an Options Software company for a few years. But I'm focused on Forex now. I wrote my own "Forex Robot Trader" and that is what I use for all my trading. It does pretty good but I'm always looking for ways to improve my strategy.
This Forum is perfect, everyone sharing ideas in a positive manner!
Just wanted to drop in say hello and also look forward to joining the group and doing all I can to further discussions and learn the futures trading business. I am currently a meat & poultry buyer for a large food company and have always had an interest in carrying a step further in learning the grain markets.
So be prepared for dumb questions!
Broker: Morgan Stanley. Only because that's where my IRA resides.
Trading: Currently stocks, hope to learn about e-minis

I have traded stocks amateurishly for a decade. That is a euphemism for portfolio extermination. I am retired and have the time to spend to hopefully improve my performance. I am positive I have cast my net too widely in the past and have decided to focus on futures, specifically e-minis. I have knowledge approaching zero on the subject of e-minis, so no preconceived notions to replace or bad trading habits to overcome. If anyone has any advice as to how to use this website to best effect in pursuit of my education objective, I am listening, and will be most appreciative. Here is your opportunity to be able to say "I knew him when he couldn't even spell futures, and I thought him everything he knows about them." Better hurry though. At my age I don't even buy green bananas anymore.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Hi traders. I have been trading in stocks for several years and am happy to join this forum. Hopefully, this is what I need to become more effective and less impulsive. Thanks for reading.
Nice to meet you all, my name is Mauro...and I am a brand new rookie in this business.
Autolearning has been my everyday bread, so far, but I wish I could find a serious and competent school.
I am italian, former airline captain, and now I live in Colombia.
Anyone knows a GOOD trading school in Colombia?
Well educated answers will be much apreciated.
