Just finished the transition from Mirus+ZenFire+RCG to RCG+Continuum
Brian from RCG took care of everything and just received my new credentials to connect to Continuum.
Commissions and fees will be excat replication as Mirus, Data feed provided for free and the only difference I'm aware of is the margin (now is 25% of exchange minimums)
3 weeks after the meltdown, it seems I'm ready :-)
Well, I only wrote an email to RCG directly and Brian took care of the process.
Paperwork: I only had to fill a simple form, scan and send it.
Cost: zero.
Commissions, fees, conditions, etc: will be exactly the same Mirus was charging me (because RCG was the clearing firm holding my funds, sending my statements, etc, I suppose they knew everything, right?)
No clue about minimum account size.
Brian was helpful and really fast with replies (I live 13 hours ahead of him). One of the emails was lost in cyberspace for any reason, so I got it two days later than supposed (not his fault), but RCG assistance has been good.
I will keep looking for other broker alternatives to trade FDAX, so I will split the broker risk in two. If anyone has another good working alternative, please let me know (preferably with Rithmic, to have both options).
