You choose ONE, MA for you indicator. It does not matter if it is the slow or fast one, just see that if you choose the slow your have the corresponding colors for the slow and then the fast will be transparent, and if your choose the fast line then see that the slow colors are transparent.
As I have no programming skills - to say the least - could someone add "limit lines" above and below the zero line of the Force Index v2? These extra lines and center line (0) should have adjustable value inputs to modify per market instrument and allow for adjusting color. See screen shot - hopefully you get the idea anyway.
I am visualizing a senario such as, if the force index crosses the center line but does not breach the "limit" line then no trade until force index breaches the limit line either short or long. This "MAY" keep the trade away from SOME chop. Yes, this may also get you in the trade later also, but I think this can be overcome, especially if you are looking for hard runners and tight stops.
You can download Constant Lines from this forum or Ninja's forum. it plots 4 lines with adjustable colors. you type in what value you want. and in which panel you want it in. Let me know if you can't find it. I can send it to you.
I'm not a programmer, but I've added lines like this to other indicators. In this case adding the Constant Line indicator should help with what you need, almost instantly. It's also very flexible. you can change the line location fast without having to go back into the code.
someone was asking about the entries and exit. The recommended stategy is 12 tick (3point) profit and 9 tick(2.25 pt) stop loss. With the newer version of boomrang it has the colored cross overs . That Indicator is used on 4 Range Chart. It seems pretty good, but in the current market thats pretty volitile need a 3 pt stop. Entries are also based on market internals also. There is another indicator add on they came out with for like an extra $180. anyone got the settings for that indicator?
