Moving to Phuket in the next couple of days, not sure about my Internet situation there.... we will see how things will go and when I can resume trading.
You are never in the wrong place... but sometimes you are in the right place looking at things in the wrong way.
I've been in Bangkok several times over the years and have found the internet to be decent there for the most part....granted I've been in high end hotels and resorts there so I suppose good internet is to be expected.....what's it like in Phuket? Any issues with getting high speed internet and what about intermittent outages. How about cost?

In reviewing my journal since I came back, I realized my greatest need as a trader: CONSISTENCY. I tried different instruments, timeframes, trade setups...etc. Not an edge. Some of my winning trades were earned... others felt like luck.
So to hold myself responsible, I am enforcing (and declaring) my trading structure:
CL and NQ only
5 min charts only
1 setup only (PBs to EMA)
I have a 100% mechanical (and robust) way to determine a trend and how to identify a good pullback. The only discretionary part is the nitty gritty stuff of entry... what is a good entry bar, and what is not... though I do have a list of criteria for that too.

so far so good in Phuket, no complains. In fact, I would say it is the nicest part of Thailand I have been to so far... and I've been almost everywhere else. Yes, it does reflect in the cost. Add 50% for rent prices here (vs. Pattaya/Bangkok). Food is about the same, can spend some money or eat cheap.
Still a fantastic bargain. I am 3 minutes away from the Karon beach, one of the best ones supposedly on the island (they didn't lie), in a nice place... paying around $650 a month in rent.

Nice....when my kiddo is grown up, we might do that.....a bit hard with her in school but we love Thailand and the people there.....I've always wanted to spend some extended time there and see the beaches....
