Excel simplifies that for you with the conditional formatting. Basically by selecting the bottom x (in your case you want the bottom 1 results, i.e. the minimum value of the last four) Excel automatically calculates the minimum result and colors it for you.
I need this formula to calculate every four cells only, not to take into account the entire row. Every four it should color the smallest value?
This is probably really simplistic, but I am running into a block

Update.....
I created a separate column that takes the MIN of the last 4 cells so I can visually compare them ...then a separate column that says T or F if the last entered range is lower than the lowest range of the last four sessions?
