Hi everyone,
Been trading options and stocks for five years now.
Just discovered Ninja Trader and day trading.
Have had some success sim trading but still not
ready to go live yet. Hopefully this site will help
make the transition profitable.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Hello All,
I'm a newbie to the site and to the world of trading (about 1 yr into it). When I found this site a few weeks ago I dove into the info presented with a vengeance. Super info here. However I'm a FIRM believer in "nothings free", nor should it be. I have little experience making money this way, and plenty of experience losing money this way. As long as the wife doesn't find out how much I lost I live to trade another day (kids don't really need a college fund do they-a few online courses should be enough for them). I really have little to contribute that you all would find useful. You folks are so much smarter at this and that is why I became a Elite member. It doesn't directly help you all but this site is so useful to me that contributing to it financially is the only way I really have to help.
Anyhow, thanks for having me here and thanks to all the work you folks put into the community. I really hope as I learn more and become better at writing some code, I can share and give a bit back.
Special thanks to Big Mike for putting it all together.
I have been trading for over 10 years now. I was originally introduced to trading by a piece of postal mail I got from Ken Roberts. I'm sure some of you out there know who that is....
So I started trading in Futures, and have since moved on to Forex! I have blown up my account many times, but have slowly become a better trader over time. I am currently trading a Forex account. I was trading at FxPro but they dropped their US clients like a Hot Iron! So now I'm trading a small account with a new broker testing them out. I don't use a fake trial account, I don't believe that is the best way to see how they really operate! I'm not totally pleased with my current broker, and I'm thinking about trying out Tadawul next. Anybody have any experience with them?
I am more of a swing trader. Actually, I'm more of a momentum trader. I don't always trade with or against the trend, I tend to just go where the momentum is. I use range bars, moving averages, momentum and divergence indicators.
Looking forward to reading the posts here and learning/discussing new ways for all of us to become better traders!
New to futures.io (formerly BMT). Been trading stocks over the past 10 years but very sporatically. Have gotten into futures. Have had some education and hope to contribute and benefit from this site.
Live in Annapolis, MD but root for Army (veteran).
Waiting for the ring of the bell!!
Ahh a fellow Satriani fan! He's my fav man.. I'll listen to him sometimes when I'm looking over charts. Who's your fav Andy?

I have been playing in the Stock Market for a few years trading stocks and options.
I did not have any strategy, just going at it head first using my gut feeling - now stop laughing! I know you know the result.
Couple weeks ago I was at a seminar about ThinkorSwim and I had a rude awakening for short I did not know crap about trading and was just wasting my time and hard earned money.
The conclusion was to get educated. So I am starting to learn about trading stuff like indicators and strategy, trading platforms and data feeds, etc.
After searching the net I found NT and the whole future day trading methods that sparked my interests. I also found a few forums loaded with information, some times too much information is not good for a beginner.
I decided to join this forum because it feels more personal, like a family and Mike sounds very honest and experienced. I found out that there are also a few dedicated contributors that support this forum and make it valuable.
Since I can't contribute to this forum with knowledge I will start by making a $50 donation to show my appreciation.
Thank you all!
