Nothing too special about how I have my screens setup. I keep the DOM's nice and big so that they're easy to see in the youtube videos when I review them. A few things about my desk to highlight though:
The screen is a PG278Q with 144hz refresh rate. It may sound like overkill, but I would highly recommend the extra investment. It makes the screen much easier to watch for long periods of time.
New desktop with Ryzen 1700x processor. It's been great for backtesting, and loading tick replay indicators.
Razor Naga mouse has a ton of buttons on the side. You've got to have a puke button.
Blue Yeti microphone is your best option for recording sound.
Staying hydrated is critical! Use a bottle that can't spill.
The calculator is the only remaining relic I have from my time at the firm. It probably should have gone back to the supply closet, but the boss just threw it in the box when he packed my stuff.
Yes that's the bible of technical analysis. I don't trade off TA indicators, but the book also has descriptions of what the floor trader should see when the patterns emerge. So I actually look at it as descriptions of order flow patterns.
Currently displaying the 6J on the 2 top screens and the 6A on the 2 lower screens.
Charts from left to right, Kagi, 5 min, 15 min, 60min, (visible).
Charts not visible, Heiken Ashi and 240 Min.
New "SuperTech Trading PC", Asus Prime Z270-P, 16 GB ram, 500GB SSD, 1TB Secondary hard drive.
Liquid Cooled, nVidia GTX1060 Graphics card.
I added some pics showing the "Arise Deskalator" sit/stand desk in a raised position. I use an adjustable lean stool with this.
