I have actually been a member for 2 years, but for some reason lost track of this forum. I currently trade YM and FTSE, and am working on ES strategies. I look forward to learning and participating at this site.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I have been trading for the past year. Glad to have found futures io and the wealth of information. Just looking forward to keep researching the futures market, trading, and losing until my personal trading style becomes profitable.
Hello, I am a beginner with trading. At the moment, I am live trading Forex with a small account. At the moment, I think that trading spot Forex is something that I want to do for only some time. I think after a while I might want to look into trading options and I want to find out more about trading Futures.
I am a beginner learning the trader trade. I am mostly self learned.
My goal is to be able to earn a living with trading so that i can live the second half of my life differently than working for someone else and managing others and customers.
I have been practicing trading with a sim account on Ninja Trader with the demo CQG feed.
I'm at the point where i am looking to start getting ready for live trading which means finding a Broker and Data feed, at the moment I plan on purchasing at least a monthly lease of Ninja Trader.
I am asking you advice for the best Data providers (CQG, Kinetick etc..?) and if you have any broker recommendations for Canadians.
I want to trade futures. Symbols I have been working with so far are ES, YM ,NQ ,TF, FDAX, CL. GC
Looking forward to your advice and will read the info on this forum.
I am a third year undergraduate student,i started trading on 2014 and had been trading forex using technical analysis. I did it for about a year and did make some profit.
However, i started questioning myself "what is trading?"
Even with wining experience, i still cannot answer this question with confidence.. to me, trading was about drawing lines, patterns, finding ratios..
Fortunately i got to know order flow when i visited a stock trader in Hongkong during summer. After that i looked for orderflow education and found jigsaw trading and John's No BS trading course.
I bought John's course and watched jigsaw's free education videos, then i started trading ZN,ES part time using jigsaw tools just not long ago and found myself much more comfortable in trading now.
I find myself improving and can read what the market is doing for most of the time, the progress, not the profit, makes me happy.
I hope i can develope my trading skills further and hopefully i would be able to trade in a prop firm in the future.
It is just great to find a format like this, it gives newbies like me a place to meet and learn from pros.
Respect, and thank you so much Mike, for everything you do for the trading community.
Hi my name is Alex and I want to learn how to trade futures. I have absolutely no experience but I'm looking for a change to what i'm currently doing. I found this site when i was researching another site called day traders academy. If it were not for google, I was seconds from paying $3000 for that program until i noticed a thread linked here. Well it should take me a good year to study and learn from you guys before I began to trade. Thanks for having me.
i've been trading in the markets for ~4yrs, used to work as a quant trader/developer of systematic trading strategies, mostly based on cointegrated pairs trading, nowadays im trying my luck on "retail" market making and mostly intraday, non HFT, strategies based on stat arb
hit me up if you need to know something about bovespa.
I'm brand new to day trading. I've been swing trading stocks for years with decent success. I've been sim trading since September 2015 and am hoping to begin live trading sometime in mid 2016. I joined this community because I've learned in my professional career that it's impossible to do anything worthwhile in an echo chamber.
Thanks for welcoming me, and good luck to you all.
Took a two year break from trading. Interested in trying it again. Had my share of failures and successes. Glad to be a part of forum. Currently retired from old job and exploring trading opportunities.
