Thanks guys, can I sell options of futures on Coffee? I remember OX took that ability away a few years ago unless you paid a fee. Also, how are the general option trading fees? Can I also trade options on stocks as well with DeCarley?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I asked that question of Carley on a webinar. She replied you can trade ICE with free 10 minute delayed quotes. As opposed to the $117 monthly data fee for real time quotes.
If you want to trade coffee options and futures ad DeCarley there is a trick to get the free bid / ask: When you enter the order to buy or sell, the system shows the live bid or ask, resprectively. Thus, you have correct live values to place the order. Unfortunately, DeCarley does not supply delayed charts for the softs. You have to get them from elsewhere-
You cannot trade options on stocks at DeCarley, only options on stock indices.
Trading fees depend on the size of the account and on the number of trades per month for every broker. They are negotiable.
Strange, I'll try again this morning. BTW, have you given any more thought to opening a new position? I left mine open after it passed the 50% mark and now it's actually a bit lower than 50%...so much for that idea. I'm probably going to close out today and not go into the new year with a position hanging out there.
