If you would like to help test SSL access, please switch your URL to https:// instead of http://.
What I need help on is identifying any problem URL's on the site where our EV (extended validation) SSL certificate is not shown, which you can easily identify by the fact that our company name will be missing from the address bar.
This shows our EV name in Chrome:
This shows it in Firefox:
This shows it in IE:
In IE, if not all content is delivered via SSL then you'll get the Mixed Content warning below. This is very bad and will freak out inexperienced users, so this is what I am most on the lookout for. If the EV name is missing from the address bar then it tells you that there is mixed content on the page.
Here is an example of a problem URL, with mixed content and no EV:
Market rallied and retraced a couple of times before rallying higher, closed out for a 20 point gain.
Oh and by the way, happy Fibonacci day to my american friends! 050813
It is happening because the post in that thread is using an external image service, and isn't using SSL. This is going to be automatically fixed on our end in the next few days, as we deploy our new image caching service which will automatically retrieve all externally hosted images and serve them from our own servers instead.
a) Bloomberg embedded videos -- a solution needs to be developed
b) CNBC embedded videos -- a solution needs to be developed
c) Externally hosted images (like photobucket) -- will be solved soon with new cache module
Tapatalk has some sort of issue. I checked prior to enabling SSL and they claimed it would work. Of course it does not, so now I have to open a ticket with the developer.
OK, after some troubleshooting on my own I found the issue. The issue is Tapatalk doesn't understand a 301 redirect, and it should. It treats it as an error. It is not an error, that is a bug in their code.
Long story short, I have a ticket open with them --- but it may take a long while for them to publish a bug fix into the App center and push the update to customers.
The quick fix is:
a) Delete any Big Mike Tapatalk shortcut you have on your home screen
b) Load Tapatalk app directly from your App drawer
c) Use the trash can/delete option for Big Mike Trading
d) Search for 'big mike' and then re-add us to your list
It should now work. I'll continue to see if I can find a way to work around on my end.
Since the server move I see in the threads when a picture (or the like) is shown that underneath
all of a sudden "Attached thumbnails" is generated - which clutters a thread more.
I am not sure if I am missing here something - I could not find a option to turn thumbnails "off".
Looking at the 30 min chart intraday (cash hours) of the DAX
we can find a development of a nice diamond right now.
The end is around 10:00 tomorrow when the form is fulfilled
and the next price drop could start - we will see.

I edited that post, all I did was add a space, I did not alter any actual content. What this does is force the system to reparse the post, and you'll see the "extra" attachment is now gone.
I think this is due to the post cache and the fact we changed the base URL tonight (http -> https). My best guess is that as soon as the post cache expires (24-48 hours) that all of those duplicates will disappear.
Also for any new post, the problem should not exist.
If after 2 days the problem is still happening please alert me again.
