Really love the platform, There are many so called gurus try to be a snake salesman and trade on demo and claim that they trade real accounts, there are many innocent victims of this grand fake scheme. As NT has always stood for its clients needs
I would like to request NT to have a water mark of " sim account " word in the charts when traded in demo, that way these false claims can be seen clearly. This is a simple request list.
Appreciate your efforts for NT 8 release.
I'm not sure if this has already been created by someone at Ninjatrader or available somewhere on this forum but I would like to see PNF charts to be represented in different ways like OHLC or candlesticks. Currently, PNF charts only allow X's and O's. This is something that marketdelta currently provides that I haven't seen on any other platforms that keep some (atleast 1 person I know) stuck with marketdelta.
P.s. If someone knows of a way to get PNF (reversal) charts into candlestick form on Ninjatrader, please let me know.
In trading, shortcuts lead to the longest path possible.
I believe that this is already resolved for NT7 on futures.io (formerly BMT). You need Bars Type called ReversalTickBars. Try attachment or search on this forum. Copy .cs into directory C:\Documents and Settings\***User***\...\NinjaTrader 7\bin\Custom\Type\ and restart NinjaTrader.
Thanks for the suggestion. I will take the concept of what you are suggesting under advisement. At first thought, doing what you suggest has several downside implications:
- All of our users who use our free version would be adversely impacted with this water mark
- Since our application is an open framework, there likely is a way from programmers to remove such water mark
- One could easily use a live version of NinjaTrader and connect into a real-time demo account which to NinjaTrader is a real account
