Those screens have a very narrow frame (just 1mm); hence, if you arrange them closely together, they almost appear like one huge screen.
This is where I turn pennies into pounds on a good day, and the other way around on a bad one:
Note the custom lean-to desk rest (works a treat) and the built-in Mordaunt-Short Brown Rat (likes a treat).
This is where I make NinjaTraders do pretty things, and work on building a time machine:
And this is close to the desk when it's travelling on the laptop, a Martian Musk-like neural linkup on the windy island (Fuertaventura) :
A bit slow off the mark posting these, but I thought it was about time I came out of the closet and got serious for the year ahead, and it was a good day today
Picked it up on sale at Best Buy for $499. You'll want to check that it can support 60Hz refresh rate for a decent computer connection and interaction, but 30Hz works great for passively watching an overall market snapshot and webinars, which is what I use the big screen for.
Since i use Q trader.. i need 1 big screen since i cannot go to multiple monitors.. i will have 2 27inch sides for additional Sierra charts, browser etc
Done quite a bit of research:
Sony x800d 43 inch if TV: prob the best for all uses including gaming (downside is cannot go to 1440p for gaming)
(some of the Samsungs have lower input lag but not a big deal and does not affect trading at all)
LG 43UD79 if monitor (only issue it has PWM dimming.. im trying to figure out if this bothers me or not)
If not i will go for the LG monitor
of course these are only 43 inches.. if u want bigger go with the 49 inch or bigger TVs
