I agree with you - you got bullshit answers and I am going to ensue that stops.
It's a growing pain - but one where a manager is in place to manage the growing. The replies you got were ludicrous.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. My apologies. You can have a a free lifetime license if you are on the look out again. This time I'll support you myself.

That may be the case with the demo I had, but I am paying for L2 with NT8 ($39/mo for the 4 exchange bundle, non-pro). I originally wanted to use JS with the bridge. Shouldn't that have worked? I'll be honest, I am not sure where L1 ends and L2 begins. I know I see the resting orders changing on the NT DOM 5 or 6 ticks (at least) away from the current B/A and on the Depth Map also, which I use a lot. Would that not be an indication of L2?
The problem I was having, iirc, was that cells in the P/S columns would go blank even if it was only a tick or two from the B/A. Cells further away may or may not still have values painting in them. It all seemed kind of random. I can't remember exactly... does JS calculate the total p/s for their respective columns? Or maybe it's just the B/A? In any case, when a cell which previously contained a relatively large number would go blank, the sum of that column (or perhaps it was the B/A column) would not change appreciably. That is how I knew something wasn't right. Since tech support wasn't much help in getting to the bottom of it, I found a couple youtube videos that showed the JS DOM with the p/s columns and saw all the cells being painted all the time, never blank.
If I'm paying for L2 and not getting it, what is the best way to test my NT feed? I'm sure the problem is fixable. I just didn't get the sense anyone cared until now.
How did you find me on support without my user name?
Apology accepted. Are you Peter Davies or has someone else assumed this account?
I appreciate the offer for the free license. Would that include the monthly fee as well? I may take you up on the offer at some point, assuming you are very confident we could get the NT bridge to function correctly. But right now, I'm on the verge of having some success with my current setup. I could reach out to you via email. I think I still have some of the emails sent to me with your contact info.
Yes - this is me. I found you as you have the same username as Jigsaw on here.
The offer is a free license and years free live trading and I'll throw in my daughter's puppy too ;-)
The lack of snapshot seems can have a few causes - some of which is the support people telling you to set a high value in the throttle. The throttle should not be set above 200ms. So it could be that or it could be L1 data.
So the process would be
- we give the license
- we do a screen share
- we get it running for you
Cheers
Pete

Give me a couple weeks to see through what I'm currently working with.
I think I heard your wife had sent you off to a health camp for a month right around the time I trialed JS. In all your videos and interviews I've watched, you and your personal philosophy on trading and running a business were key factors in my interest in JS in the first place. My experience was antithetical to that in your absence. I certainly understand you needing personal time and don't fault you for that. I'm only saying that so you know you were missed
Thanks again for your commitment in this matter. Next time I'll reach out to you directly via email.
That's a $579 lifetime software license free, and one year's live trading free, another $500. Really, I would take it
As you are interested in order flow the Jigsaw DOM is a lot better than the Ninja DOM. I have done a screen share with Peter at some point, I can't remember why now but whatever the issue was, he sorted it out and he'll quickly fix the Snapshot problem for you.
It also easily solves your data analysis issue of wanting flat-to-flat trade results stats which you will get through Journalytix, unlike what you currently have with Ninja breaking up the incremental fills in to individual trades.
You do not win as a trader, you just get to play again the next day. If that game doesn’t appeal to you then you should not trade. Gary Norden
The differences in the pulling/stacking numbers between programs is an interesting one. It's puzzled me for a long time and I eventually got around to raising it with Jigsaw support last November but without much result. This was fair enough I felt as it really requires a detailed technical analysis between different vendors' products.
I don't use SC anymore but it always gave very different results to JS. Also Overcharts gives different numbers (all using Rithmic). The Denali SC feed seemed to give the same numbers as Rithmic.
So, my view is that it must be the timing, the frequency or other detail of how it's calculated that's causing the difference rather than the feed. Certainly JS gives few numbers away from the inside bid/offer in comparison.
Now I just go with JS and just one level. It certainly shows icebergs on the ES very well.
I would love some techically competent person to delve deeper.
I think they must be essentially out of business. Support is terrible. Wanted to connect Daytradr to my Rithmic account. Instructions are bad.
Can't get connected. I guess they have flown the coop?
