My thought on this quote of James Allen is that he is looking at the spiritual growth of a person. To me he is sharing the concept of the world as a place to learn spiritual lessons and cleanse ourselves of spiritual flaws (the "dross").
Spiritual purification is the reason for repeated incarnations.
We need many lives to achieve this (and some put forward only one soul has done so).
If you were totally free from judging others, hatred, ill-will, envy, dishonesty, violence, greed, and so on, you would be free to break the cycle and would no longer need to come back (Pure gold cleansed of all dross). At this level you would be free from all constraints of the material plane.
With God all things are possible.
Whatever you ask for, believing it will be done, it shall be done.
If you had faith even as small as a mustard seed you could command the mountain to rise up and throw itself into the sea and it would be done.
All these things I have done you shall do and more.
Included: instantly healing lepers, blind, crippled, disfigured, transformation of substances (changing water to wine), commanding storms to be instantly still, creating physical things (feeding 5,000 people with 3 fish and 7 loaves and having 14 baskets of scraps left over, vanishing and bringing the dead to life.
The message of Easter Monday is that physical death is not death of the spiritual being (which is eternal).
Aside: The Church edited out re-incarnation from the Bible as it didn't suit their purpose of control. However it was a commonly accepted concept at the time of Jesus. "Who do the people say I am?" Jesus inquired of his disciplines. "Some say you are Elijah. Some say you are John the Baptist, etc".
(So until one rises to Christ/Buddha consciousness and can leave the material plane suffering is part of one's lot. )
Many of us know how important visualization of our goal with emotional energization is to manifesting the goal in the material plane. Nut we do not do it - the twice a day practice.
There can be many reasons for why we do not do what we know we should do. That is, many underlying dis-empowering beliefs held by our subconscious.
I have pondered on this question for myself and today in an "unrelated" (is anything really "unrelated" at a deeper level?) conversation I wrote
"I am acknowledging to myself my worth and my opportunity to help transform the planet at a time of crisis. "
So now I realized that this is pointing to a underlying dis-empowering belief about myself.
I have not been "acknowledging to myself my worth".
In a way (on a conscious level) this is silly, but beliefs held my our subconscious do not need to be logical, or rational, or make sense. These beliefs are often implanted in our early childhood without us realizing it.
So I will add to my affirmation list:
"I now acknowledge to myself my worth and my ability to create great achievements"
Well sure.
- Buy real estate for my and me
- Travel as much as i can all over the world - living the good life but not too much though and not all the time.
- Start a program to teach teens and mothers and everyone who wants to, but can't - How to make money - trading or other ways online. (there has to be one thing i don't do totally for my own benefit.)
-Make sure i always have some on the side for a rainy day.
Or - at least that's what i hope I'll be smart enough to do...
I have been starting each day with the vortex money bags visualization.
This morning the phrase "transform your life" sprang forward.
It brought to mind the idea that we are not trying to live the past but to create a new a transformational self image.
We want to step into a new us.
--------------Bright Light Room------
There is a visualization which goes along these lines:
Imagine yourself standing before the door of a magical place filled with a beautiful bright light.
The spot of grass you are standing on in front of the door is a circle of green grass 20 feet wide.
Behind you you can feel a forest with a path leading to the green grass circle you are standing in, but it is not of interest to you and you feel no need to turn around and look at it -it is behind you, your past.
You wear a smile and look forward into the place of beautiful light. In this magical place are only good things. This world is shielded from negative thoughts. It is filled with positive uplifting energy - perhaps of angels. When you open the door and step into the magical room and close the door behind you - you will see appear before you wonderful beautiful things that fill you heart with joy. In the magical world everything will be as you want it and you will be able to do whatever you want.
You now open the door step into the magical world and close the door behind you.
What do you see?
How do you feel?
What are you doing?
Feel and experience the joy and delight of this place.
When you are ready return to the grass and close the door.
Open your eyes and write down all the wonderful things you saw, felt and did.
I am listening to it several times.
This came forward today:
"Our current beliefs and actions are governed by experiences linked to unconscious emotional memories.
Emotions are key to forming beliefs
Re-experiencing of emotions tied to the orginal conflict re-enforce current beliefs."
So when we set-up to visualize we must first remove unconscious limiting or destructive beliefs.
(or perhaps replace them by stronger supplants in the unconscious belief bed ?)
and doing this requires the energization of new empowering beliefs with sufficient emotion to supplant old unconscious beliefs.
