Interesting thread! Perhaps you can post up some screen shots of your chart with reasons for entry & exits. Just posting results doesn't really help anyone apart from self gratification.
My mom uses a 5-minute anchor chart and a 1-minute trigger chart...and sometimes a tick chart. She leans heavily on the MACD (with standard settings) for entries and moves her stop-loss to break-even quickly using the TickHunter EA BE+ button. Below is a screenshot of her primary chart layout on MT5.
I use a 15-minute & 5-minute anchor chart and a 1-minute trigger chart. Below is a screenshot of my primary chart layout on MT5.
When evaluating the markets, I look for Energy, Direction, and a Good Price. In the screenshot below, the thick line with the #1 is the 89-EMA...the other thick line #2 that sometimes goes flat is a 42-Donchian channel middle line (I call it the PowerLine). I use the 89-EMA and the PowerLine on the 15-minute, 5-minute and 1-minute chart to determine the "macro & micro trend" direction. When both lines on the 1-minute chart paint green, I mostly take bullish trades. In this example, I took 1 sell and 8 buy trades.
I love this. I'm currently working on step forward testing zombie set ups, and now will include this update in my zombie practice sessions. Good work you!
Well, there was the sound of boOOooom on the SIM accounts....and then a crater remained...
Since we will be starting the challenge over...going forward if one of us "boOOooms" an account only one person will start over. Previously, we were planning to keep the two of us on the same day...but now we will race to the 20 day mark and if one of us must reset then only that person will go back to the starting point of Day 1.
Today, I pushed a new build of the ZombiePack2 for NT8 to FIO. In the update I have completed the Zombie21 collection (Zombie21Candles, Zombie21EMA, Zombie21MACD).
Using the Zombie21MACD, you can match my mom's look for her favorite indicator. Below is a screenshot:
1) Zombie21SetupAlerts - ShowEnergyStack enabled (previous named SetupWave)
2) Zombie2NetPriceChange
3) TickHunter (not part of the ZombiePack2 but available on FIO)
4) Zombie2BarTimer
5) Zombie21MACD
6) Zombie2PriceInfo
7) Zombie21EMA (gray and purple ribbons plus 200-EMA - based on GMMA)
8) Zombie21Candles
9) PriorDayOHLC - show close enabled - built-in indicator
10) Zombie21SetupAlerts - ShowZombieSetups & ShowHalfLifeSetups enabled
