How much selling will there be at the open of the futures market today ? Nobody really knows, all I know is that I have some weekly auction market targets for the /CL between 70.80 and 70. For the /ES is around 6730 area. Lets see if the algos are interested in those numbers. I rarely trade until 9:30 EST unless I see something special.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Rally back to resistance and took a small /ES trade $+2550.....maybe we can see some downside targets in the AM near the open ? Weekly fringe targets are valid all week if things get crazy, never say never. 312026estrades
I took a gummy and couldn't sleep so I decided to share my algorithm for Auction Market Theory. Its a combination of Steidlmayer and Dalton...I've combined it with the weighted average of the last 20 day high value node and low value node crossovers and lastly, its blended with the number of times the full moon has occurred on holidays compared the rotational force of my old big wheel I treasured as a child.
Solid framework. Love that you're putting the actual auction math out there for free.
For anyone following along, Druckenmiller's Q4 2025 13F dropped just two weeks ago (Feb 17, 2026) and the moves were massive -- 26 new positions and 30 complete exits in a single quarter. Some highlights:
$301M new position in XLF (Financial Select Sector SPDR) -- playing financial deregulation broadly instead of picking individual bank names
$225M into RSP (S&P 500 Equal Weight) -- betting on market breadth expanding beyond mega-cap tech
AI pivot: completely exited Meta, tripled Alphabet, increased Amazon 60%. The thesis appears to be "buy the infrastructure, not the application layer"
Coupang increased 40% -- a 4-year conviction hold despite being down significantly from 2021 highs
One caveat worth flagging for anyone new to 13F tracking: these filings have a 45-day lag. Q4 data reflects positions as of December 31, 2025. He could have exited any of these by now. That's exactly where your auction framework earns its keep -- the 13F tells you what the whale bought, but the chart tells you whether the trade still makes sense at current price.
Your point about POC fixation clicks. I see traders get tunnel vision on a single reference point when the broader auction context -- where is price accepted vs. rejected across multiple timeframes -- matters more. POC is a data point, not a strategy.
The hedgefollow.com tracker you linked is a clean resource for monitoring institutional flow. Good share.
Welcome to the community -- looking forward to seeing more of your auction work.

Gotta go with a proxy for tomorrow..../RTY has weekly auction target/resistance at 2678. Yeah, were just 1 day into the week and were bouncing around weekly fringes already !
