Daily Trading Window

During this 30-session exercise I realized narrowing down my trading window to just 2 hours daily 10 am -Noon EST 7 am-9am PST it helps me focus on 1-2 trades daily and helps me use the ORB opening 30-minute price action moving forward that 2-hour window will be when I place all trades.

The goal of refining this is making 1 or 2 high level trading decisions a day and journaling all of them. This adjustment may also help me extend profit targets in winning trades.

July 10 Price Action

I spent my trading session looking for immediate follow through to the upside after two long attempts totaling 61 points in losses. I will need to work on my patience in the upcoming week.

I do like the 2-hour 7-9 pst 10-12 pm est window of trading on a 1-minute chart that is still 120 candles to make a decision so plenty of opportunity

Still following my rules so two stop outs and done for the day.

30 Trade Review

30 Trade data

With first 30 trades down and 15 sessions complete. I am right at breakeven total.

Biggest fix larger winners I need to capture more 20 and 30 point wins to offset losses, as one loss is currently about 6 winning trades.
That is good to see and is something I will focus on in the upcoming week.

Something I will be adjusting next week is using stop losses but removing profit targets and using time as a exit. This will help me hold trades longer.

This was a big issue for me, what I had to do was modify my system to invert the negative R:R - Honestly, my big breakthrough was giving Claude over 2k trades and the tick data for every trading day since January this year and find exactly where I was profitable. That period included all of my worst trading (overtrading, revenge, inverted R:R, ext..) Even through the worst trading I could possibly do, we were able to find exactly where my edge was. Which is the system I trade today. With rules built specifically for my leaks. It turns out I was profitable the whole time, even through the worst trading habits, but I would have 1 or 2 blow up days a month where I would give back everything I made. So a hard unbreakable cage was built around that habit. A negative R:R was also one of my big leaks and that has also been fixed, but my way. I scratch or take a lot of small winners, but about 8% of the time, I get my 50pt move and that carries the whole set. I dont know if this is helpful for you, I hope it is! thats how I found my path through.

Widening up the candlesticks to fill the screen with your 2 hour window or just the trades, then print screen would help alot. Yes it is a simple stategy.

Sounds like I will be doing the same I only have 34 trades so far but inverting my RR seems like the obvious flaw in my trading approach
