Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Hello to everybody.
Thanks Mike for having your goals so directed to this so usefull tools for any trader that can be sharing our lonely work with otheres and for all your work behind the scenes to admin the site.
I am a CL daily trader. I use and like Market Profile and volume at price indicators.
I look forward to know other traders and share stuff.
Welcome to the forum, consider it your new home! There are many great people here willing to help you become successful traders. The best way is to get involved in the community. Start participating in threads, in the beginning you will ask questions and then soon you will start answering them.
Shortly thereafter, you can start your own Trading Journal in our Journals section, and start receiving feedback from all the great traders in the community and improve your own skills as a result of the journaling process.
I mostly trade the FX market with a small live account. I'm close to finalizing my trading plan which I will put up here for criticism and suggestions. Thanks to Mike and the rest of you guys for making this site possible.
hi all
new member as well.
Seems like a good community.
I like to swing/position trade ES and watching the canadian dollar too. I consider myself still learning although I dont think that will ever stop.
I know programming and C# because of academic work and can understand an existing program and mod it or write my own although it can be slow. I dont consider myself an absolute expert in the intricacies of C# since I never worked professionally with it. Obviously I use NT.
My first language is french so sorry for my english in advance. Curious of knowing how many french speaking people are doing this actually.
I know MP and did have a brief personal blog commenting on MP applied to ES but stopped writing on it since I started dabbing into automation with NT. One of my future to-do project is to try automated MP trading although I dont have an idea of where to start yet ... dont know if anyone tried or if it can work but if you are working on it give me a shout.
if I answer in French it will take at least twice as long.
New here, be gentle. I've been a trader for almost 20 years; stocks and options primarily, but am just getting my feet wet with futures and FX in the last year or so. Looking forward to learning from other traders and hopefully being able to make intelligent contributions of my own....
I have been trading Futures full-time for the past 8 months...50/50 Sim & Live. I rely on Order Flow & Volume Profiles with S/R areas to enter and exit trades. The weakest part of my trading plan is getting off course looking for the next best indicator or trading style - I still feel like I'm looking for something else to complete my trading plan. I would also like to shed an indicator or two...but who wouldn't right? I follow TraderFeed, Simplicity in Trading, and Electronic Local Blogs, which are great but I think more trader interaction like futures.io (formerly BMT) is better for my plan.
