I had finally some time to update the importer.
The main new feature I added is the ability to import also the trades made by ATM strategy.
I refactored the way the trades are grouped: now I group the trades based on the entry time. Whenever there is a trade with same entry time it is added as another car.
So the program should now meaningfully group the trades from strategies and manual trading alike.
It exports to an older version of journal (still probably some link problem in V4). But there is a workaround: save to a new file and then import from the journal v 4:-)
Hmmm, that seems very strange, I don't know why a missing Adobe reader should lead to such an error, I will investigate and hopefully come up with a fix...
to accommodate for stock commissions the journal would need some adaptions as futures commissions are generally calculated differently.
There are two possibilities:
1. the easier modification would be to type in the commissions by hand on the journal tab. Obviously you would have to manually calculate them before.
2. Adapt the instrument tab commission round turn column to show % (e.g. .03%) and then adapt the commission column formula to calculate along the lines of: price*shares*%
If you could provide a round turn example calculation I will try to implement this for you as soon as I have the time...
