I have been asking for the real trade execution arrows FOR YEARS now ... Yes some little arrows pointing sideways at the correct price we entered and exited would be awesome. True.
I totally second that.
The other suggestion - I don't think I get it >>> So I don't think NinjaTrader will "get it either" unless you explain better. Maybe add a picture of what you mean.
Ninja has shortcuts for the drawing tools and there is a modification for Ninja to have all the drawing tools on the chart>>> it is called TOOLBAR SHORTCUT I think >>> it is in the downloads. Look for it. That is probably what you are asking for.
ONE MORE Suggestion/Request I would love is a NEW DRAWING TOOL >>>
Called Horizontal Ray >>>
and all it actually is - is a RAY that IS PURE HORIZONTAL LINE . So we click in a place on the chart and the RAY projects to the right forever like a "ray" but it stays horizontal always.
This is useful for putting a new support level that just appeared.
Perfect if you want to put a support level at a price for later... but you DON'T want a horizontal line to go BACKWARDS on the chart and mix with price action in the past.
The platform Genesis has this feature and it is SUPER HANDY and super easy to implement I think.
I think this may have been asked in one of the webinars, but an extremely valuable addition would be to show/hide an indicator that is in in one of the lower panels, under the price panel. Right now, we can can add a show/hide property in code to anything that shows on the price panel, and just do a return if it's true -- but that's no good for an indicator in a lower panel, because the panel doesn't disappear, just becomes empty.
You can use Maximize/Restore to hide all the other panels, but not just one individually.
This does not seem like it should be too tough. Hope it's not too late in the development cycle to get it in, if it's not already.
Thanks I added an image and also found the indicator. This will make thing easier, but a slight advantage of having custom shortcuts at the top of the default toolbar would be that you only select the ones you use so it is less cluttered, and you also get a tiny, tiny bit more chart space lol.
