EDIT: After adding the Euro indexes with the Symbol Lookup feature they did work, so I guess I did something wrong. I guess this post could be deleted, but perhaps could be handy for other users.
I receive this error when opening a chart with minute settings, even though the error log suggest that it's a tick chart. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong. Besides that, how can I tell to MCDT that the EuroStoxx 50 is an Euro currency based index, because according to the error log MultiCharts is searching for an USD index.
Btw, if I try to load an dollar index (such as the S&P 500), everything works fine:
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Yesterday I’ve had quite some trouble trying to connect MCDT to MB Trading, yet today I’ve succeeded in establishing a connection. So I thought I should share this with you guys, and perhaps it will save someone else some headaches. ;)
…
I noticed some of posters in this thread connected MCDT to MB Trading. How did you do that? The best I get is an orange light when connecting, yet it never becomes green.
The Quote Manager shows no error (doesn't show anything regarding the MB Trading connection attempt). With googling I couldn't find the correct settings or a manual, and using the NinjaTrader manual as guidance for MultiCharts doesn't help very much. I did found that, in the past, an MB Trading Navigator was needed, yet I can't find that now (it seems to be replaced by MB Trading Desktop?).
Anyone can help me out?
That would be great. Where can I find these manuals?
We recently added an entire subforum section for MultiCharts. Please make use of it by starting new threads for new topics/questions instead of creating new topics within this long thread.
(I have a quick question, should I open a new thread for this or not?)
How can I show a specific trade from the Portfolio Performance Report (MC6)? NinjaTrader has this functionality, and the image on the MultiCharts website suggests it is possible, yet I can't find it.
I think you need to backtest inside MC, and not Portfolio Backtester or whatever it is called, in order to see individual trades. Then it's on the View menu if I recall, like View Performance Report.
There is a critical bug with MC 7 Beta4 and MB Trading.
MC submits wrong Take Profit and Stop Loss Prices when trading with EUR/USD ((Tested with Manual Trading). So if you're trading on real account, be careful and see whether you experience the same problem. I've reported it to MC team and they have confirmed it. Hope this will be fixed soon.
