I am trading DAX and DOW cfd's on MT4. I have been trading for 8 years now, and after being break even for a long time, I am starting to make some money. In the near future I want to trade DAX an ES futures. I hope to learn from this forum.
hello i am a trader forom Bogota colombia, currently i try to get information to open acount in ESmini , i studied with Day trading academy, and i konw some things about scripting in ninja trader
I am a new sign-up member, but have read Posts on the site from the time it was Big Mike Trading ( I always thought that it was a strange name for a Trading site). The information and advice provided then was always real and helpful - particularly from Big Mike during the infancy of the site. It is good to see that this tradition has continue on Futures.io (I have an Automation background, so I see io as Input/Output, so for me again at first glance Futures.io seems like a strange name for a Trading site). But then again, isn't that what Trading is all about - Inputs and Outputs. The goal is to make the Outputs more than the Inputs !. Futures.io is a good resource to help to facilitate that.
I am an experience Futures trader of the ES, but haven't mastered it as yet. I find the market interesting, intriguing, challenging, and infinitely rewarding once one understands it. A student of the market and a keen Chartist, I believe the key to trading successfully is understanding what one is seeing on the Charts. All the information and data one needs to be a winning trader is on the Charts - they don't lie. Ultimately, the Chart is the best Indicator.
Long time lurker, first time poster.

May you all get your targets filled!, and Mike you deserve a raise and a vacation.

I am Ian and I enjoy watching the markets, listening to podcasts, playing pool and pretending I'm not a 60 year old in a 20 something body.
I was born in the Midwest and have been obsessed with the markets since I was around 14 and I have been actively trading since 2013, when I started my first real brokerage account. After promptly blowing that up I started to do research and learn more about stocks and options, as well as leverage and risk management. As of 2016 I was swing trading stocks and options on a 2 day - 6 week time frame and mostly using technical analysis to find breakout trades. As of the end of July, I was up 26% on my relatively small account.
During the summer of 2017, I was introduced to a futures trader who worked for a few large corporation hedging asset prices and then eventually moved into working for private clients and trading their money and then his own money. He is currently running a trading room that I attend daily as well as doing my own analysis. I mainly focus on the Market Profile when making a trading plan for the day and reading the tape and volume histograms for decisions during trades. I am not currently profitable since switching to Futures.
I am looking for advice on trading CL / ES / ZB/ ZN and also anyone who would like to try my mentor's room out, that would be cool too (just message me and I'll ask him). I have a lot to learn and I am excited to begin my career as a trader. Any notes would be great!
No soy de entrar aqui muy seguido pero me gustaria aportar a la comunidad, el problema es que no soy muy bueno con el ingles. espero que me puedan entender.
