Noticed a issue with the new posting box when zooming in. It shrinks when you get to 150% or above and makes the new posting text go to 2 lines. See video link. I am using the Chrome browser. Yes - I zoom in and out a lot.
Sorry, I was thinking Windows Mail = the new Outlook web based mail. It seems to be a problem specific to that application, as other IE based browsers work fine (I assume they are using IE).
Prior to the middle of last week it had never happened before. It also started happening on my iPad using Safari at the exact same time. I use my iPad daily to access futures.io (formerly BMT) so it was pretty noticeable. Ironically it does not happen on IE.
I dont know much about Web design, but it would appear something has changed to make it start occurring on two different browser platforms at the same time.
I haven't changed anything that I can possibly think of that would cause the issue. It is perfectly normal for zoom to break the page, I wouldn't expect otherwise.
One day the chatbox will be rewritten. The process was started once already but the developer quit before it was finalized. I have a good developer now, but this is very low on the priorities, so I wouldn't count on a fix anytime soon.
The problem might be because of some very long URL's that a user has posted in the chatbox. Those URL's don't get wrapped and can possibly cause what you are seeing. Give it a few days for those URL's to drop off the scroll buffer, and see if the problem goes away.
