I did some trading a number of years ago. It actually started out ok, but then I let my broker take control of my trades, and instead of being the one controlling my money, I allowed another to do it.
It went ok at first. To $4000 and fairly quickly it was $15,000....but then it started to go south. Instead of taking control then, I allowed myself to be fooled into thinking it was a temporary thing, but eventually I ended up with only $2,200. Stupid I know...in fact felt so stupid that I have avoided doing this again because of that.
I realize that no one care about my money more then me, so that is my philosophy. So far on this forum I have read some great stories and some great advice, and I look forward to learning more about trading and you people as well.
Hey all, im here for learn something new about trading and become a successful trader, hope i learn something about you all, see you in the forum thanks
Hello everyone, I got so intense trying to develop my trading style that I completely forgot I joined Futures io. I intend to do better participating in the coming year.
Does anyone have any tips on the most profitable way to trade ZB? This instrument is my only focus at the moment. I want to master ZB before tackling anything else. I have been using Ninja Trader's 7 platform for about 3 years now. Most trades have been in the simulated mode with about 6 live trades. I am slightly ahead, winners vs losers, but when I assess my trading events I ask myself whether I was profitable because of skill or luck? How do you know when it is truly skill?
Looking at 2018 as my moment to go live and be profitable. Happy New Year!
I´m from Germany and been trading my own account for 15 years now. So I hope I can get some good input here and give the same from time to time. In trading you never stop learning, and if you do. You start losing more than you earn.
I've been trading futures for about a year with moderate success. I took an Online Trading Academy course and have been using their methodology. Looking forward to learning as much as possible to supplement my trading education.
Hello mates! I have traded everything under the table, and found a home with trading futures. I am excited to learn from everyone here, as there is always a-lot to learn.
I am currently a 7AM-4PM accountant that likes to earn some early morning cash flow, and I would love to bounce ideas off of each and every one of you.
I'm a total beginner in futures trading. I was trading forex before with Metatrader 4 and Trading Station, but I can sense that the data we were receiving was lacking and filtered. Volume on both bid and ask (most important market strentgh indicator) are not displayed nor offered; that would certainly cost a lot for a trader for being uninformed. I believe there is a lot more to learn before can profit consistently. I look forward to learn from all of you.
