Thanks for the heads-up, but the request for this feature is still quite valid.
Having been done elsewhere, and especially having that "elsewhere" charging for this feature, is not the same thing as wanting the feature as standard in the base product, available to all licensed users, developed and maintained by the NinjaTrader engineers, and fully supported by their support staff.
I mean, just because it's available elsewhere, this should not disqualify the request to add the feature to the base product.
Anyways, I would add a "+1" for NinjaTrader to add this feature.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Valid point. I hope I didn't sound harsh. Just being a little flippant.
If you really want NinjaTrader to log your request for consideration, you may wan't to talk with their support guys on the NinjaTrader Forum. futures.io (formerly BMT) is great for high level discussions and expert methods. But for the small stuff, you have to get your "vote" logged by the support and development staff.
Dang! -- that is pretty sweet! Lets take this to another thread to keep this one on topic >> but this is pretty freaking nice. I am not a programmer or that awesome of one - that is why I asked for it. Thanks for the heads up!
I am afraid it's not so simple - it is just .NET Core that is being made available, WPF is still Windows only, hence a lot of work would have to be spent on alternative GUI and I am not aware of anything Mono resembling WPF - the closest: https://github.com/mono/xwt is nowhere near WPF capabilities.
Since we are talking about .NET Core - @NinjaTrader - is the plan to release final version of NT8 with .NET 4.6 ?
