Hello,
Recently I became very interested in trading. I really didn't know which direction to go so I started watching youtube videos. I quickly found out that I was gravitating towards futures, specifically to the Emini. However I knew that I needed to become educated before just diving into the market. So I started researching and became weary of all the people claiming to be "educators". I was not about to just jump into a course without reaching out to a community of traders first. I'm so glad this site is here. Thank you so much for this.
Thanks for the prompts to introduce myself.
I consider myself somewhere between a beginner and first level intermediate trader.
I have been sim trading for quite a while; and live trading the NQ and ES in the past.
I'll start trading the live ES and ZB on 7/9. Currently on vacation, but looking forward to part time, and eventually full time trading. Also have a desire to trade options on various minerals. Any guidance for the above would be deeply appreciated.
I have been trading from the 90s and it seems to only be getting harder to trade, I am here to possibly seek out some information. I have found many useful tools in my time will be happy to share as well as learn from others on this site.
So, apparently I've been a member for well over a year. I don't remember signing up but here I am anyway.
I traded futures from 1998 to 2012 until PFGBest took my money.
I laid low for a while, finished a degree, and while in school decided to pick up trading again albeit not seriously.
For the last few years I've been spreading corn calendars with much success. I wish to do the same with crude as it is one of the most liquid futures. However, I am leary as to what the best approach would be.
I wouldn't trade todays tech for theirs, but did I have some fun!
Back then there was still pit trading and the volatility was more tolerable for noobs. Nowadays a lot more care is needed while learning the ropes...
new futures.io member here. I have been trading forex since 2014 without long term success and now I am starting with futures and I hope to get better results. I am wishing to learn a lot of the elite futures trades of this forum.
I use NT7 and trade ES and NQ mini futures in a demo account.
Quit now, trust me. I traded better in 1995 than nowadays, it is really worse than herding cats, but if anyone has the edge I am looking for please let me know. as far as I can see all the old setups are gone.
