Updated the forum statistics block on the forum homepage above Who's Online. This was a complete rewrite and has some new features. Unfortunately, they are not working... and while I've yelled at the developer, all I can do for now is leave it mostly broken until there is a fix.

This is mostly fixed now. Still not 100% the way I want it, but close.



The "latest posts" section is gone as it was fully redundant. The same information is to the right of the chatbox, and also accessible from navbar by clicking "New Posts".

Replacing it is a more useful statistic of "all time" stats for threads. I am still working on this, it is a work in progress.

The new screencast bbcode was also supposed to be new YouTube engine code that fixes some URL formatting problems. Unfortunately, it isn't working and I've already had to remove the old YouTube engine and it is not simple to put it back. So for the moment, YouTube links on the forum are broken. I am waiting for developer to provide a fix. Mike

now the main panel shows most viewed thread, so it even shows a closed thread which doesn't do much for me. If you insist on showing most viewed thread could you add option to switch my view to most recent thread as it used to be?

The post cache has to be rebuilt. This means new posts are fine, old posts will take a day to come back online (embeds to start working again), sorry for this.

I went ahead and manually rebuilt the post cache, all should be good now with YouTube videos again.

Intention is to get it to where the right column is showing active threads, regardless of their creation date, while the left column is showing only more recent threads created within the last 90 days.

That is an important difference.

Left side: Must be created within last 90 days.
Right side: Created whenever, must be posted to within the last 'x' days. This is a work in progress and is not currently reflected, but is my goal.

NexusFi (formerly BMT) Unified Search

This is the most advanced vBulletin search function ever designed for any forum of any kind, anywhere.

I am still in testing mode, it is incredibly complex... but I just wanted to say that it will replace the top-right search bar and will feature tabbed results that will, with a single search query:

- Show post content (bodies)
- Show thread content (titles)
- Show attachment content (file attachments in posts)
- Show download files (in the Download section)
- Show users (search for usernames/profiles)

And more...

Hope to have some working screen shots in the next few days of this, and I may open it up to Market Wizards for beta testing after that.

Is there anyway to get back to finding the latest posts regardless what thread it was made upon. Maybe there is a new place to find this information, But I liked being able to see the most recent posts people made regardless of what threads they posted on so I can see posts on old and interesting threads or posts on threads that aren't necessarily most viewed or hottest.
