Back to the subject: my experience with NT is quite good. I experienced some connection issues, but it really happened only a few times.
Best regards
Martin
I used to trade with them through Dorman & it was fine, but have no idea what they are like now.
I'm thinking of getting back on Multicharts as I have a lifetime license, I just really like the graphics and clarity of charting NT provides as I trade OHLC charts with price action alone otherwise I would have left a long time ago.
I've been attempting to make some suggestions on transparency etc over there but likely falling on deaf ears
It's good to hear something good about them as I have read lots of negativity about the broker specifically online, usually has to do with Random intra-day margin increases triggering a $50 fee
There forum is full of upset users at the moment so hard to get a good idea on what they are actually like
Right now I hear there lots of connection issues and such as listed in my initial post
Personally, I have experienced disconnections from my data feed since the latest "upgrade" there is a lag also on the DOM now and T/S, the screen will freeze for over 2-5 seconds and then jump forward.
None of these issues happened before the latest version. Then I have to close the workspace, save it, close and relaunch Ninja, Obviously not Ideal, I have monitored my internet feed it has no disconnections and an email to NINJA basically said it's on my end.
Yes loads of people are having similar issues, there forum is full of these issues if you look back a few pages
I had data lag issues in that my ES charts where at least 1 second delayed wile my CL charts where over 2 seconds delayed, I had to troubleshoot for a long time, I checked against both NT7 & NT 8.0 (prior version)
NT7 has the least data lag with the prior NT8 release close behind but the new release for me lagged considerably, I reported it but do not know if they fixed it yet, can't say for the DOM, I noticed the delay instantly on my chart so reverted back to prior release.

I was happy with "Ninjabrokerage" as long as it was a label for Philip Capital and Dorman. I had perfect fills, much less slippage in comparison to IB, low fees.
After Ninjabrokerage started their own clearing, I had positions closed without a understandable reason, and I had a margin call although I had only one ZW futures contract long in an account with margin that should have been enough for >10 ZW futures maintenance margin.
When asking support about that, they just sent me a link to their margin overview site, and they did not adress the problem. I asked again, and told them I was willing to leave if they could not tell me why my position was closed by them. They sent the link again without solving my problem, so I transfered all money to my bank account and than to Interactive Brokers.
Since this date I never traded again with Ninjabrokerage, and as long as I see how Ninja treats the customers of their software I am quite sure I will never do again.
Thanks for writing in, I hear you I had a good experience with Dorman too.
I appreciate your input as these are the kind of issues I have read on there forum in the past but it can be difficult to differentiate between a P&%$#* off user and someone with real issues.
Yes I know what you mean about how they treat the customers of the software, I've been a long time user and have dealt with every single update since the inception of NT8 containing bugs and consistently being told it's my fault having to troubleshoot by myself to be able to definitively report back on exactly what the issue is so they'll actually attempt a fix so I can use the software, sometimes I think that's what they want, to push a bug riddled new release on users and have the tech savvy of the bunch report back on what the issues are to save on time and the costs involved in figuring it all out themselves. I've learnt now to hold back on updating for as long as possible until the bugs are minimized.
