Also the mechanism of having 20 individual threads that get bumped up upon a new response is helpful at spurring up new debate in an old thread without it taking the place of other threads by being redundantly shown more than once. Otherwise I assume it would be a lot harder to get threads to show up in the hottest or most viewed list to get experienced traders to add their two cents. Those most popular threads would simply have to be exhausted to fall out of their rank before allowing new ones to pop up which can't happen because there are always other popular threads to take their position. I can understand why you never looked at the 20 latest posts as much because you probably have admin duties to scan through each and every single post regardless of it being on the same thread similar to the window on the right of the chat. That window to the right of the chat works I suppose despite what I mentioned above but it's simply just in a obscure area and probably deserves a larger section. If I were to design something I'd probably have my subscribed threads at the top and then the 20+ posts underneath it even though the subscribed threads are in the userCP. You have a lot going on this website and individual customization of the home pages seems like what you're leaning towards even though you want to showcase a lot of great new features like for instance the videos. It's hard to balance the best of both worlds.

Quick links are helpful but a newbie to the forum might not know to find this function since it is tucked away and the "today's posts" is a bit lengthy running 4+ pages so what I'd suggest to Mike is to have the ability to increase the amount of posts you can see on one page. ( pardon me if there is a way to do this, I haven't found how to do so )
Since there are 4 pages of posts for one day I'd love to be able to see them all on one page spanning 100 + posts so I don't have to toggle to the next pages. Sorry I'm so particular but I feel there can always be improvements ( just like with trading ) and if no one speaks up it ultimately hurts the usability of the forum.

not bad, most viewed threads (14 days) make user want to explore more, most view thread 30 days etc...
but each thread needs an end arrow to go to the end of thread as of now user has to start from thread beginning.
