Just a note that on Sunday 10/6 5:56 AM eastern, futures.io (formerly BMT) was down for about 31 minutes due to a failed power supply on one of our servers and a mandatory datacenter power shutdown. This is unprecedented at the datacenter, they switched all power to a secondary power system and during this switch the redundant HRP power on one of our servers that was plugged in to the new line failed, causing an outage.
I want to thank for helping handle this as I was still on vacation at that time.
A replacement PSU has been overnighted.
I also am posting to let you know that I am going to down futures.io (formerly BMT) tonight in about 5 minutes, and it will be down for about 5 minutes. This is for some software maintenance.
I recently upgraded to IE 11, and I've noticed that the thumbnails usually don't open now, the black box that comes up as they load just hangs. Other attachments, not posted as thumbnails, open OK.
I can work around it by right-clicking the thumbnail and selecting "Open Link in new window," so I don't have a problem, but I thought I would report it in case you didn't know about it. I assume it's either an issue on your end or with IE 11.
Probably I shouldn't have upgraded to IE 11 while it was still new...

I encountered all attachments having their filename changed, when downloading.
To illustrate, I attached the indicator "SignalBars.zip" to this post,
if I hover my mouse cursor over the attachment, it shows a serialise number name …
Short version, IE11 is not compatible with the site.
futures.io (formerly BMT) will be going down in a few minutes for emergency maintenance to replace a failed disk drive (waiting for a call from data center). Once down, the site will be unavailable for a few minutes.
Sorry it took about 30 minutes longer than expected. The drive replacement went smoothly, the issue was a frozen NFS mount that caused me to reboot both servers.

The read posts disappear after reading...
So it depends on your approach to read futures.io (formerly BMT).
I prefer New Posts as I am reload the page many times per day. If you only read once or twice here
the Today's posts is sufficient.
