Thank you for sharing this great setup.
I have a question, could u please take a look at this chart?
It seems like i cannot exactly know which bar is the setup bar because the forming bar and the previous one are almost never touching the EMA5
I have read the whole thread, you might have already answered to this, i'm sorry if i missed it.

Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Perhaps a confusion here (in bold) ?
I stand corrected, but assuming you have had a set up bar, any subsequent bars would relate to either
staying in or exiting the trade (depending on your rule set) ?
Such that bars subsequent to the set up bar could easily remain "fully" above the EMA5.
ie: the train has already left the station !

I've received some excellent help from futures.io (formerly BMT) site.
My thanks to eveyone.
Perry's thread was amongst the first I read and started with scripting indicators for.
I'm not that proficient in scripting.
But by way of giving at least something back to the futures.io (formerly BMT) site as a whole
and to anyone trying Perry's method
I include the attached.
(exported with NT7)
The DMPlusBCv1 zip:
Colours the bars:
Blue = adx rising and +DM rising.
Red = adx rising and -DM rising.
Pale Blue = +DM and adx out of sync.
Pale Pink = -DM and adx out of sync.
I was unable to include any account of the adx >25
The bar colours are not so much a buy/sell signal, but give a good
visual of the influence/strength of the ADX/-DM/+DM.
The Force_Index_v02FastBC zip:
Colour bars and /or background.
You still need to change the line settings to dash/hash.
Combined on a chart they may assist as a visual aid for the method.
You can get creative by adding indicator via Imput Series to the DMPlus.
In this instance I've added ZiNonLagMA 03
This gives a "boost" to the adx part of the DMPlus and as a bar colour visual aid
may help at those "perry moments" for entry bar as well as for continuation/turning points/exits.

Template
(need to have imported DMPlus and Force indicators from my previous post#936
and ZiNonLagMA 03 from this thread post#6 (thx to Silvester17)
Hi I applied the ZiNonlagmA to a wide variety of markets, it works great across 6E, 6B, ZC, ZC, CL. The only market on which it cannot display the right colors is ES eminis. All the activity is covered with the flat color, no green for rising and no red …
Thx Perry and Sharky (where I got the ZiNonLag idea from)

Kind regards
PS: the "Trade" "Chop" "End of "Trend" text isn't particular to my template, just got left
on from the original DMPlus Perry indicator.
Anyone have any luck trading Perry's on a higher range chart? I'm having trouble getting in quick enough. Thoughts about 8, 11 or 16 range? Seems in principle it should work, but anyone try these? Thanks, SS
