I have a different view on this, when u have 50/50 setup, and ur x/y is y>x, then ur setup is no longer 50/50, it will be more losser than winner, and u r hoping to get bigger winner to cover the losses u have from the loser
In scapler, we are hoping to have more winner to cover the bigger loser.
check this out: two inside bar setups on the ES daily (RTH). I didn't trade the breakouts because I was already short on the first one and already long on the second, but it's nice to have that confirmation when in the trade.
Indicator ReversalsV6 gives signals for Reversal and Inside bars on bar close. In other words, it calculates on bar close even though I set it as "False". Outside bar is working OK. Please see the three attached charts and compare the time remaining on each chart. Could someone lookt at the code and fix it? TIA
Trying something a little different (in addition to my use of range bars with this method, as described earlier) : I just discovered FT's MultiplePeriodCandles overlay, so that's what I've done : these are 15 min bars over my R5 chart. I notice they don't quite line up timewise with my regular M15 chart, but I think that's a function of range bars not lining up either.
Hey, Jeff : I'm still using an M15 chart for context, as introduced to me by you on this thread (thank-you yet again ) - how about you (I see you have additional developments on other threads) ?
