Jeff when does this dot print? At the close of the bar that has the dot underneath, or on top of it, which would make entry the open of the next bar? Correct?
Aren't these dots just the Linear Regression reversal indicator? I get the exact same dots as you guys with the only exception being yours are showing 1 bar sooner, which obviously can make the world of difference between a win and a loss. Can you comment on this?
Thanks
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
well i can tell you its not linear regression in our indicator but we use linear regression to help us test different things in the indicator this is a indicator that takes sharky style trades if we told you what was underneath the hood then we minus well give the indicator to you...sharky
exactly 100% spot on. i've said this too and agree completely because people start looking to indicator to make decisions for them instead of looking and learning at what is driving the indicator then it becomes all about the best indicator instead of learning about what is driving it!

How much would you pay for this (see attached screenshot) ?
!!! See how today's ZN (SIM) trades were correctly triggered with the red and lime green arrows.
Well, well, well; I still have the Renko behaviour challenge. I'm yet to understand the way Renko acts. The arrow triggers is the ........ indy (Oh, it's still in the works , and the MA line is 21 HMA_Color indy).
If I can overcome the Renko challenge, it will be GREAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
Note: The attached screenshot setup took me just 5 minutes. How about that ?

im trying to make the best indicator not run a trading school to teach people how to trade...sharky
Sharky is always bluntly clear. He does not want to teach people how to trade.
At ATW (Advanced Trading Workshop), for example, they want to teach people how to trade, not sell indicator. So, Sharky launch the indicator, but at VERY ATTRACTIVE terms and conditions. We appreciate the works and effort on this indy. Meanwhile have a look at my post 954 above.
nice chart, i teach people how to trade everyday but thats teaching, this is different im making a indicator and i want it to be used as a indicator,if you want me to teach you i will if you want my indicator then fine but im not telling people how i made the indicator then anyone can copy it with enough time and effort...sharky
I have to grab Steve Nison book "Beyond Candlesticks" for further in-depth understanding of Renko. I also need to be mentored by somebody who is already effectively using it.
I'm displaying the "ColorSampleUniversalMovingAverage2.cs" indicator which allows you to change the MA Type, Display Arrows, Change MA Line Colors and Change Arrow Colors. It can be downloaded here under "Download/File Sharing". A very useful indicator to have.
