One of the things I look for in a professional trading desk is the use of a wired mouse (and keyboard, for that matter). Like uninterruptible power supply and backup data feed that mouse represents the elimination of just one more potential failure mode, and at so little cost or inconvenience.
Thanks ! I love the bezel less for sure even after the "sacrificed" screen real estate, after going for a single monitor but nowadays even crazier displays come out like the 49 inch setups.

For the past month my girlfriend and I have been travelling the east coast of the United States. I have been trading from some pretty awesome locations! These are pictures from our 10th floor room in Myrtle Beach, SC.

I used to have double internet connections as well, from different suppliers (ie Telco AND Cable) but as power outages are a rarety in the Netherlands, if they do occur, they tend to shutdown large area's making even cellular connections useless. Does anybody think a VPS setup with safety stops makes sense in this regard?
