OX no longer exists. They were bought by Charles Schwab. OX is now SmartStreet Central.

I used to be at OX. I am now at DeCarley Trading. Best customer service ever. Plus exchange minimum margin.

Thanks guys, can I sell options of futures on Coffee? I remember OX took that ability away a few years ago unless you paid a fee. Also, how are the general option trading fees? Can I also trade options on stocks as well with DeCarley?

I asked that question of Carley on a webinar. She replied you can trade ICE with free 10 minute delayed quotes. As opposed to the $117 monthly data fee for real time quotes.

If you want to trade coffee options and futures ad DeCarley there is a trick to get the free bid / ask: When you enter the order to buy or sell, the system shows the live bid or ask, resprectively. Thus, you have correct live values to place the order. Unfortunately, DeCarley does not supply delayed charts for the softs. You have to get them from elsewhere-

You cannot trade options on stocks at DeCarley, only options on stock indices.

Trading fees depend on the size of the account and on the number of trades per month for every broker. They are negotiable.

But how -technically- do you get the spreads opened? I see no way for comfortable handling of spread orders at decarley.

For the naked version they are fine.

Best wishes

Carley has a new platform available that does spreads. City Trader. I haven't tried it yet but intend to check it out next year.

It's Dudetooth's spreadsheet, not mine.

It works for me (version 05d). What date(s) are you trying to do? Are you using the correct Futures Month symbol?

Strange, I'll try again this morning. BTW, have you given any more thought to opening a new position? I left mine open after it passed the 50% mark and now it's actually a bit lower than 50%...so much for that idea. I'm probably going to close out today and not go into the new year with a position hanging out there.

If i am opening new spreads on /ES today based on the 1x -5 delta short and 2x 1.5 delta long, which strikes should i be looking at?

The April 3rd week:
-1 2400
+2 2140

Will this be roughly correct?

According to IAB data the ESJ P2275/ESJ P1900 show a delta of 5 / 1.5 %.

I cannot say how reliable these data from IAB are.

Best regards, Myrrdin
