I need your help on this indicator:

(1) Where can I download it ??
(2) I mainly trade on MNQ and MES, will it work for these ?? if so, what should be the timeframe ??

Thanks for your help.

I just posted the link to it above your post. It works on any instrument. The timeframe is up to you. I use it on my 1 minute and 2 minute charts mainly. This is for Ninja Trader 8. It is good for identifying direction and also riding out a nice trend. Here is the link again below. Click on the banner.

I got it. Thanks a lot. one followup question, as per advise it shouldn't bs used alone, so in that case any suggestion which other indicators to be used
along with this to make a final decision on buy and sell ?

I mean as a double confirmation. Thanks

Keep in mind, I don't just take trades because the indicator tells me. I am also looking for price patterns on my 5 range chart and taking support and resistance into account as well. The indicator is fairly new to me but I am finding it helpful in providing trend direction.

It would be way to much to try and explain how I go about with my system. If you are interested, I go into a lot of detail on my webinar. I did that a few weeks back and it was before I was trying the indicator. So between my system in the webinar and the indicator I am trying now, you should get a good idea of what I do.

If you are talking about the one I have on my 1 and 2 minute charts, I got it from here on the Future IO's download section. But it's for Ninja Trader 8..There may be versions for other platforms. I'm not sure.

And for those subscribed to the Lizard Indicators library, you'll find a similar indicator here:

It seems to me that you are looking for a simple yes, take the trade/no don't do it system, when what is being done here is somewhat discretionary based on years of experience and observation.

Please correct me if I am wrong Lance, but this is akin to riding a bike or driving a car. Lance is explaining the chassis, the gearset, the shocks, the brakes... but ultimately you have to learn how to ride it/drive it yourself.

Not a slam at all, just an observation. A hundred people could try to copy this system and come out with a hundred completely different results. IMHO it's a good framework to start with but ultimately ya gotta own it and make it your own.

Well said, friend. I want to re-emphasize it, if I may.

This half sentence is the most important concept for anyone doing anything. The journey begins only once this concept is internalized.

It's true for trading and non-trading endeavors. It's true for life in general.

Trades from today. Still experimenting with the 100 tick target 50 tick stoploss method. Results have been good so far, although it's challenging to hold some of these trades to their target.
