Wondering what your computer configuration is - 5 range is CPU heavy - Are you using Intel core i9 or AMD Ryzen? I'm building a new computer (or I may buy one if I don't have time) - debating what the best "guts" are for scalpers. Thanks.

I've been using the same PC for several years. It's an Intel I7 4.7 Ghz. I haven't seen any issues with it..but I may upgrade in the near future.

Failure is not an option

I noticed some serious latency lately. Built my current computer but definitely need an upgrade now with higher volume and volatility. The Intel i7 series is very good I'm told.

Thanks for the info.

I have been using 5 range on NQ also, with 4+ other tick charts running at same time on either my desktop (AMD Ryzen 5600) or laptop (i7). The 5600 is silky smooth. It doubles as gaming machine also, so lots of other bells and whistles contributing to its performance. But it's fine on the i7 laptop also. 5600 is a great bang for buck processor if you can find one at or near MSRP. I think 32gb RAM is great to have also in a desktop (16 is fairly standard now).

Thanks. Decided to have one built to my specifications. I don't have the time right now to do it myself. Ordered all the best upgrades, bells and whistles. Should have done this a while ago.

Howdy, it will be interesting to see how you are building your PC.

If you are interested, it would be great if you were to copy and paste a copy of your build order.

I recently had a new standalone trading PC built by Magic Micro as they could build a unit for just about what I could buy the parts for.

I shared a copy of my build in the "Show us your Battlestations" post.

I'm sure you are really going to enjoy that new PC, I know I am.

Cheers!

Good morning! Thanks for sharing your build! It appears that I have to wrap my head around the "Dual Hexa Core" part of the build. I was looking at the CPU speed of that CPU. But since it is "dual", I assume that each CPU would have a speed of around 11,508? That number I got off of a 3.07 GHz. Could not find the one you listed. I like to see what other traders are using for CPU etc.

Looks like you got an excellent price on your unit.

Thank you much and enjoy that new PC!

I have a falcon computer it is getting old I am looking into another one check out a video by Eddy Z he tells you what the minimum internet speed and possessor speed
to use in his opinion. Im looking at Intel Core 8-Core i7-11700k Benchmark 25,320 and AMD RYZEN 9 3900X - 12 Core Processor Benchmark 31,885 and 8 monitor support
but these are pricey
