If you are subscribed to certain threads as "Instant" and only one or two of them is actually notifying by email what could the problem be that the others are not?
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Check the subscriptions from your UserCP, and make sure all are set to Instant.
Also if your email account is Yahoo (like yours), you will often see huge delays of email because Yahoo basically sucks and delays email from sites like NexusFi (formerly BMT) which produce hundreds of thousands of emails, ignoring that we are DKIM + SPF signed, double opt-in, and Unsubscribe link on every email.
