Hi All,
I am new in this forum.
I am about to open a new futures trading account. Due to some firewall setting at office, my choices are very limited.
Does anyone in the forum knows the credibility of a brokerage called "Iron Beam" ?

Checked them out and spoke to one of their sales people.
The margins they offered initially are kind of high.
They offered to match the commissions and day trade margins I pay at AMP... If they offered me something better, I may have even switched brokers!
Didn't come across anything negative about them via google.
Has anyone used Ironbeam and what are their experiences? I see reviews on them online but they all look too good to be true and fake. I also know it's tied up with Farr financial and thus has a darker past.
Would you say it is safe to use them? My options are limited.
I've been out of trading for a while. It took me a long time to save some capital I could start playing with in the markets. I've heard of Ironbeam and have demo'd their FireTip platform in he past. It's a nice platform but if I'm not mistaken it cost $50.00 a month. There are definitely better platforms out there that are lower in cost or even free. I know their not a huge firm but they are a real firm to clear your trades and definitely not fake. You can look them up on the NFA website too and they are there.
I know this thread is old but I thought I'd hop in here just in case. The Firetip X platform is completely free for the year 2020 (and might be continued into 2021). So no monthly or transactional platform fees. It has its own dedicated data feed as well, so you are not subject to the 10-25 cent CQG or Rithmic fee.
